English: Massive T° contrasts were recorded n South America in July 2023. On 16 July, the air temperature reached+39°C in Brazil and -22°C in Patagonia. On the same day, One of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites captured this cloud-free view of one of the Andean lakes where the low T° were recorded.
