"Disputes - international: Military Demarcation Line within the 4-km wide Demilitarized Zone has separated North from South Korea since 1953; periodic incidents with North Korea in the Yellow Sea over the Northern Limiting Line, which South Korea claims as a maritime boundary; South Korea and Japan claim Liancourt Rocks (Tok-do/Take-shima), occupied by South Korea since 1954" so I'd like to go with NPOV. I believe we can reach an agreement. thanks :) --Boldlyman 00:27, 2007 rugpjūčio 21 (EEST)
:And where that name Liancourt came from if it's neither Korean nor Japanese? Please be more specific, I seek NPOV too but I'm not expert in this case. I knew nothing at all about those islands untill now. --Nomad 00:33, 2007 rugpjūčio 21 (EEST)
: yes, the name Liancourt is a neutral name on this controversy between Japan and South Korea. (historically the name came from a French ship name 'Liancourt'. though, at the time, the island was already known to the peoples. the island was firstly called as Matsushima by Japanese, and as Usando by Korean. so France seems to have not insisted the admin of the islands.) --Boldlyman 00:50, 2007 rugpjūčio 21 (EEST)
