The Element of Freedom – ketvirtasis studijinis amerikiečių atlikėjos Alicia Keys albumas, išleistas 2009 m. gruodžio 11 d. Pirmasis albumo singlas „Doesn’t Mean Anything“ pasiekė aštuntąją vietą Jungtinės Karalystė singlų reitinge, „Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart“ – septintąją, o „Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down“ – antrąją.
Albumas debiutavo antrojoje JAV „Billboard 200“ reitingo vietoje, per pirmąją savaitę pardavus 417 tūkstančių albumo kopijų. Tai buvo pirmasis atlikėjos albumas, pasiekęs ne pirmąją reitingo vietą.[1] Albumas pasiekė pirmąją vietą Jungtinės Karalystės albumų reitinge, tapdamas pirmuoju Keys įrašu, pasiekusiu pirmąją šią viršūnę.[2] 2012 m. rugpjūčio mėnesio duomenimis, visame pasaulyje parduota per 5 milijonus „The Element of Freedom“ kopijų.[3]
