Discovery Institute

Discovery Institute (liet. Atradimo institutas) – Sietle, JAV, įsikūrusi, politiškai konservatyvi, ne pelno siekianti organizacija, idėjų kalvė, išplėtojusi kreacionizmo atmainą, vadinamą protingu sumanymu. Visi žymiausi protingo sumanymo šalininkai yra susiję su pastarąja organizacija^[1] ir tiki, kad protingas Visatos kūrėjas yra krikščioniškasis Dievas.^[2]

Jos šalininkai bando įtikinti savo sekėjus, kad evoliucijos teorija yra ginčytina mokslinėse bendruomenėse bei mokymosi įstaigose, tačiau nesutarimai kyla tik religijos išpažinėjų ir politikų dėka. JAV nacionalinė mokslų akademija teigia, kad pačia teorija niekas neabejoja.^[3]
