The exceptions only prove the rule as there are no clear system why one Samogitian name is given and another not, there are no other local variants given, so these are probably mistakes or somebody's personal initiative (much like yours, sadly not stopped immediatelly). Lithuanian Wikipedia is small and there are no rules about everything written. But if you insist I can write one, hopefully you will be able to read it. We had situations before when somebody starts placing en masse Polish historical names to every town in Lithuania. :::::::: I used the word "exceptions" rather liberally as there's [[Specialus:Kas į čia rodo/Žemaičių_tarmė|a lot more than a handful]]. That's why I'm wondering if that's something the Lithuanian community actually achieved consensus on. I could actually go and move the German, Russian and other names of the Latvian cities to the infobox, but I have no confidence that someone from the other side will not just revert everything.
