== Biografija ==
Ugnė Katinskaitė was born on 14 June 2003 in Vilnius, in the family of musicians. She is currently studying at National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art in prof. Rusnė Mataitytė's class.
Groti pradėjo būdamas vos trejų, tačiau rimtai mokytis muzikos ėmėsi būdamas aštuonerių. Baigė [[Šiaulių konservatorija|Šiaulių Sauliaus Sondeckio konservatoriją]], kur akordeono žinių ir įgūdžių jį mokė [[Marytė Markevičienė]]. Studijuoja [[Londonas|Londono]] Karališkojoje muzikos akademijoje, profesoriaus Oveno Murėjaus (''Owen Murray'') klasėje.
 
She first participated and became a laureate in the international V. Radovič Strings Competition at the age of 7 in 2010. In the same year she made her first debut as a soloist with Vilnius City Musicipality St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra (conductor Donatas Katkus).
Būdamas dvylikos, Martynas pradėjo dalyvauti respublikiniuose ir tarptautiniuose konkursuose bei festivaliuose Lietuvoje, [[Italija|Italijoje]], [[Lenkija|Lenkijoje]], [[Prancūzija|Prancūzijoje]], [[Baltarusija|Baltarusijoje]], [[Estija|Estijoje]]. [[2006]] m. Šiaulių miesto savivaldybės taryba Martynui suteikė galimybę groti nauju instrumentu. [[2009]]–[[2010]] m. vasaromis surengė koncertinius turus [[JAV|Jungtinėse Amerikos Valstijose]]. Groja keliuose kameriniuose ansambliuose, kurių vienas naujausių sėkmingiausių „Tango-Factory“ (Martynas Levickis – akordeonas, Lauren Carter – vokalas, [[Rimantas Vingras]] – fortepijonas).
 
Even though Ugne is only 14 years old, she is already a winner of eleven international and national contests: B. Dvarionas Piano and Violinists Competition (2012, 2014, 2016), J. Urba National Strings Competition (2011, 2013), International S. Sondeckis Competition (2013). In 2017, Ugnė participated in three competitions where she became a prize – winner of special prizes: in R. Katilius Young Violinist Competition Ugne was the youngest participant of all time (13 years old) and she won the second prize. During the international competition of S. Sondeckis Violin Competition she became a laureate and in the prestigious international Andrea Postacchini"s Violin Competition in Italy (jury chairman Boris Kuschnir) she won the 4th prize and a special scholarship prize.
 
Ugnė has performed with various Lithuanian and foreign orchestras and string quartets such as Lithuanian Chamber Orthestra (artistic director and conductor Sergej Krylov), Kaunas City Symphony Orthestra (conductor Martynas Staškus), National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts Symphony Orchestra (conductor Martynas Staškus), Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, Musica Humana (conductor prof. A. Vizgirda), Vilnius and Duisburg Philharmonic String Quartets.
 
Since 2014 is under the patronage of Mstislav Rostropovich, the charity and support foundation „Aid for talented children of Lithuania". In 2016 autumn Ugnė entered Accademia Perosi (Italy) and began to study with a world famous violinist and educator prof. Pavel Berman.
 
Ugnė is actively performing at the prestigious halls of Lithuania and abroad (Italy, Germany). Her performances were repeatedly broadcasted by Lithuanian National Television. She is also actively involved in various courses conducted by world known performers: Sergej Krylov, Itamar Zorman, Boris Brovtsyn, Tatyana Berkul.
 
Quote from the recomendation letter about Ugnė Katinskaitė by a famous Lithuanian violinist prof. Rusnė Mataitytė: „Ugnė is an extremely expressive artist with an invaluable gift of transformation and feeling one's part deeply. She charms and leaves listeners in awe not only with her high level of technical excellence, but also with her emotional maturity, which is not characteristic of children of this age. I believe that a bright future is waiting for her".
